LIGNA 2017 - High performance release agents for the wood industry

EISLINGEN, 12th April, 2017 - At this year's LIGNA Zeller+Gmelin presents innovative release agents for wood processing and conditioning in Hanover (May 22nd -26th). Showcasing its Multiboard portfolio, specially developed for the wood chipboard industry, will be one of the highlights at the company's booth D51: The high quality release agents for wooden materials ensure high process reliability and cost-effectiveness in both, spraying and rolling applications. The focus is on the new Multiboard Ultra enabling sustainable optimisation of production of MDF boards employing isocyanate gluing.

At LIGNA 2017, the 150-year-old company, based in Eislingen,  Germany, showcases a wide range of high performance wood release agents for different production methods and applications. Multiboard portfolio for OSB, fiber- and particleboards

Zeller+Gmelin distributes a wide range of high quality release agents for the wood processing industry under the brand name "Multiboard". Each product is developed precisely according to the specific manufacturing processes of its clients. In order to set new standards in efficiency, the company employs about 20% of its staff in R&D at its Eislingen headquarters.

"Our Multiboard products are versatile, however they are ideally suited for manufacturing of OSB, fiber- and particleboards," as Markus Mühleisen sums up the main advantages. For the first time at LIGNA, customers, partners and interested parties can assure themselves of Multiboard Ultra. At Zeller+Gmelin's exhibition booth, trade visitors get to know everything about, for example low-foaming wood release agents exhibiting excellent storage stability while not leaving any impurity on the compression belt of the application system. "Our customers benefit from first class human and environmental compatibility of this product. The application of small amounts is enough," says Markus Mühleisen. "In addition, our thorough practical testing has proved, that by employing Multiboard Ultra, production of MDF boards with isocyanate gluing can be sustainably improved."
